This extraordinary variety is the result of crossing two legends: the legendary Mendocino Purple, also known as "Mendocino Purps", originally from Mendocino in Humboldt County, California, and the notorious Purple Kush, famous for its intense narcotic effect, resin covered purple buds and a great earthy flavour. This plant develops a long and robust structure, with generously sized leaves. For indoor cultivation, it is recommended to use the SCROG method to handle its large size. It is vital to avoid overfeeding this plant and to carefully monitor the amount of nutrients in the soil when applying liquid fertilizers. There are four phenotypes that give this strain a spectacular array of colors, ranging from green to deep purple. The aromas move between the earthy notes typical of Purple Kush (with purple buds) and the sweeter nuances of Mendocino Purple (with green buds). Typically, greener plants finish flowering 5 to 7 days earlier than others.
